Magari's Goa villa reworks the language of traditional Goan-Portuguese architecture — the sloping roof, the sloping wall, the balcão, or covered porch, that has long framed the threshold between home and street. Here, that vocabulary is given a contemporary edit: rooflines are pared back and reangled, walls lean and shift rather than sit flat, and the porch is reimagined as a more open, layered transition space. The levels and rooms are arranged to concentrate toward the pool, which in turn opens toward the ocean — carrying the house's traditional outward-facing gesture into a more fluid, modern sequence of space.
